Be enchanted and celebrate our wondrous Moon with laid-back lunar activities and celestial cocktails. The event will be hosted by experts in anthropology and popular culture, including popular science writer Philip Ball, cultural astronomer Daniel Brown, and with comedian hostess Susan Morrison.

12 Years to Save the Planet

In the UK this year, the record temperature recorded in February was broken twice in a two day period. In 2018, top environmental scientists issued a final call to save our planet from catastrophic climate change. They argue ‘rapid, far-reaching and unprecedented changes in all aspects of society’ are necessary to prevent global temperatures from rising more than 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels.

Climate change is discussed in the media almost on a daily basis, and yet it can feel as though little action is being taken by our leaders. Join a panel of climate experts and figures from energy and industry who will be proposing their plans to combat climate change. This 90 minute discussion is a great way to have your questions answered about the action being taken to save our planet.

When: Saturday 6th April

Price: £5.00 – £8.50
