Let’s face it; the meeting room just isn’t as exciting as it used to be. Why not make it both of you? With so many delicious restaurants and quirky cafes, there is no shortage of options for your next business lunch in Edinburgh. As big fans of lunch meetings, we’ve taken the time to enjoy a lot of them and have pulled together our top picks.

Loudons is a great choice if you’re looking for a coffee or bite to eat in the West end. The laid-back atmosphere has made it an ever-popular establishment with the locals. Serving breakfast, lunch, homemade cakes and artisan coffees, they pride themselves on using natural ingredients and catering for all types of dietary requirements, including vegan and gluten-free options.

The varied menu gives you the choice of fresh juices, hot drinks, a snack or lunch. This allows plenty of versatility regarding the type and duration of meetings that you can have here. We’d recommend Loudons for catching up with a client over a casual coffee. Although Loudons can be busy, the buzz of chatter creates a surprisingly intimate meeting space, preventing any awkward silences.
