Making a reservation
A credit card is used to take the non refundable and non transferable one night deposit. The remaining balance is due in accordance to the rate selected, please see individual rates. In the event of a cancellation, a refund will be given with the exception of the one nights non refundable deposit. In the event that the required notice is not given the remaining monies will only be refunded if the apartment is resold. Advance purchase rates are fully prepaid at time of booking and are non transferable and non refundable.
The credit card used to make payment for the reservation shall be required at check in, along with matching photographic ID. This credit card shall also be used as guarantee against any additional charges such as telephone calls and damages.
In exceptional circumstances it may be necessary to cancel your booking. In this event, we shall make all reasonable efforts to offer a suitable alternative or refund any sum paid which shall constitute final settlement of any liability we may have to you as a result of cancellation.
During peak season and high demand periods we reserve the right not to take one night bookings. Furthermore, weekend bookings and bookings made in high demand periods for 2 nights which are then cancelled to a one night reservation will be charged for two nights.
We reserve the right to decline single sex group bookings
Internet rates and special offer rates
Internet rates and special offer rates displayed on our website are only valid & available when they can be booked online at www.fountaincourt.com. Guests are offered the best available rate at the time of booking. Once accepted the daily rate cannot be altered. Rates are subject to change at the discretion of Fountain Court Apartments.
Check In and Check Out
Our Grove reception at 121 Grove Street, Edinburgh, EH3 8AA is manned 24 hours per day. This reception is for Grove, Harris and Grove Executive arrivals. Check out time is 10.30am on the day of departure.
Our EQ2 reception at 1 Lower Gilmore Bank, Edinburgh, EH3 9QP is manned Monday to Saturday from 8.00am until 10.00pm, and Sunday from 8.00am until 5.00pm. Should you be arriving outwith office hours please contact us to arrange for your key collection. Check out time is 11am on the day of departure.
Unless otherwise agreed in advance, all apartments must be vacated on time on the day of departure and keys returned to reception. If there is any delay in vacating the apartment beyond the agreed time an additional night's accommodation may be charged to you. An itemised telephone bill will be supplied on departure and this should be settled immediately together with any other incidentals.
Please note you will automatically be charged £30.00 on the day of departure for each set of keys that are not returned. Should any items in the apartment, including linen, be damaged the credit card number given upon check in will be charged as appropriate and you will be notified.
Damage Liability
It is expected that the apartments are left in a clean and tidy order. You are responsible for any damage to the apartment and its contents during your stay which has occurred due to negligence or omission. Any damage must be reported to us without delay.
Guests are advised that we will not be responsible for any loss or damage to your goods or personal belongings kept at the accommodation.
Occupants
Only persons notified to us prior to arrival may occupy the apartment. The number of persons permitted to occupy the apartment is limited to the number of beds available and this limit may not be exceeded.
Pets
As a general rule, no pets of any kind, are allowed in the apartments, however, this rule is subject to change by management.
Complaints
In the event of any dispute or if we receive serious complaints we reserve the right to terminate your stay without notice.
Furthermore, we reserve the right to charge guests who cause disturbance to other guests of Fountain Court.
