Within Edinburgh itself there are many walks which would make you think you're out in the country. Follow the Water of Leith from Dean Bridge in the New Town, or take a walk around the Royal Botanic Gardens, you'll soon forget you're in Scotland's capital city. Edinburgh's main attractions are all within walking distance of EQ2:
Edinburgh Castle and Royal Mile - 15 minutes
Princes, Rose, and George Streets - 20 minutes
Dynamic Earth and Palace of Holyrood - 40 minutes

The bus stop on the opposite side of the road will take you to Edinburgh Airport on the No 35.
Using Edinburgh as your base there are lots of walks outside which are easy to get to either by train or by bus. Visit Scotland is the best place to find these routes and the travel arrangements.
