Scotland is regarded as the best non-Test playing country in the world. Every year, the major touring teams make a visit to Edinburgh to play Scotland in the beautiful surroundings of The Grange Cricket Club in the Stockbridge area. Top English counties also play here, in the C&G Trophy.
Amateur cricket is very popular in Edinburgh with dozens of clubs playing in competitive leagues every summer.
