What do you need to know?

Whether you're here for a night, a week's business trip or even longer, Fountain Court can help you make the most of your time in Scotland's capital.

Below is everything you need to know about the apartments.  From what we provide for your stay to where you can park.  If we've missed anything please feel free to get in touch.

 


What's the difference between an apartment and a hotel room?

An apartment gives you more space than a hotel room.  All apartments have a kitchen, living and dining areas.  While we have one bedroom apartments, in some locations there are apartments with two or three bedrooms.  The benefit and value of having the space and security of your own home outweighs that of a hotel bedroom.

Do you accept credit cards?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Switch, and Delta

Is internet access available

All our locations (except Morrison) are equipped with  secure wifi internet access.  Morrison has broadband access which we can provide the cable for.  All internet access is free of charge.

Is parking available?

All parking is subject to availability and cannot be prebooked.  Grove and EQ2 have parking facilities on site.  As from 1st March 2008 parking is chargeable at £6.00 per day.

What facilities are in the apartments?

All apartments are designed and equipped to be your home from home.  All bedding and towels are provided.  Further details are listed below:

Kitchen           Oven & Hob, Microwave, Refrigerator with ice tray, Dishwasher, Washing Machine/Tumble Dryer, Pots, pans and wok, Toaster, Tin and bottle opener, Cutlery and cooking utensils, Corkscrew, Dishtowel and oven glove, Knife block and chopping board, All crockery and glasses,

Baking dish and tray, Scrub brush and paper towels, Dishwasher soap/Washing up liquid/Soap powder (not replenished), Measuring jug  and colander, Placemats and coasters, Salt and pepper.

Living Room   Sofas, Coffee table, TV unit, Colour TV and remote, DVD player (EQ2 and Harris only), Mini stereo and CD player (Grove and Morrison only), Ipod connection (Harris only), Stereo (EQ2 and Harris only), Phone, Dining table and matching chairs

Bedroom         Double, single or twin beds (dependant on location), Wardrobe with hangers, Nightstands and lamp, alarm clock (on request)

Bathroom       Bath, hand towels and bath mat, Shower curtain, toiletries (vary dependant on location)

Additional       Door entry systems, Iron and ironing board, Safe (EQ2 and Harris only)

What do we provide for breakfast?

Harris, Grove and Morrison - we provide a welcome breakfast pack on arrival.  This consists of a loaf of fresh bread, pint of milk, one portion of cereal each, butter, jam, tea, coffee, and sugar.  Only the tea, coffee and sugar will be replenished daily.

EQ2 - we provide a breakfast pack which is replenished daily.  This consists of a loaf of fresh bread, pint of milk, one portion of cereal each, fruit juice, yoghurt, butter, jam, tea, coffee, and sugar.                                        

Are the apartments serviced?

Housekeeping service the apartments daily.  Towels can be refreshed daily if required.  Bedding is changed every four days

What are the arrival and departure arrangements?

EQ2 has a reception which is manned 24 hours a day. 

Morrison reception is manned 9.00am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday and 10.00am to 2.00pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Grove reception is manned 8.00am to 7.00pm Monday to Friday and 9.00am to 5.00pm on Saturday and Sunday.  This is also the reception if you are staying at Harris.

Should you arrive outwith these hours we will notify you of the arrangements.
